How the DebtShield app and this website handle information.

The app

The DebtShield iPhone app collects no personal information and transmits nothing. The numbers you enter (income, essentials, debt, chosen area) and everything derived from them (verdicts, simulations) are stored only on your device, in the app's local storage. There is no account, no server for this data, no bank connection, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking. You can delete everything you entered from within the app at any time. Deleting the app removes it all.

This website

This website is informational. It sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Standard server logs may be kept by our hosting provider for security and reliability (for example, IP address and request time); these are not used to profile you. If you voluntarily submit a form (such as a pilot inquiry), we receive the information you enter in that form and use it only to respond to you. We do not sell contact information.

Children

The app collects nothing from anyone, including children. The website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect children's information through it.

If this policy changes, the updated version will appear here. A contact address for privacy questions and data requests will be listed here once available.
